Live Life Together

An album of a ” quick overview” of where my husband, myself and our children were at over a three month period. I added lots of digital journaling, some of which was over the top of reduced opacity photos.

Chipboard album by Maya Road, outside embellishments by Tim Holtz, Tattered Angels (misted canvas cover), stickers by Making Memories, and unknown, large tags, Making Memories.

Explore travel themed album/journal. Meant to be taken along on a trip, for on-the-go memory keeping. Pages inside are chipboard, covered in brown cardstock.

Cover made with chipboard covered in brown canvas, and edged in Tim Holtz tissue tape.  Other supplies include: Jenni Bowlin Butterfly Stamp; large tag by KI Memories; gaffer tape by 7 Gypsies; twine by Pink Paislee; flowers & button by Tim Holtz; paper scraps and paper flower, Creative Memories; corrugated alphas by Jillibean Soup; punches, green and purple ribbon, Martha Stewart; other ribbon,vintage; Mist, Clearsnap. Bound with Zutter Bind-It-All.

Days of Water, Fun, and Adventure

Made for Lucky Girl Crafts, as a guest designer. The photos are of our family adventures at the lake and pool, so everything is “water” themed.

Pages are cheap chipboard from a discount store, painted in acrylic paints, distress paints, or covered in summer themed papers. Crabs are punched using Fiskars squeeze punch, hibiscus flower stenciled using a mask made from patterned paper…..and was misted using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Harvest Orange.

The Haunted House Halloween Party Album

This album was made of a big annual family party. I knew that lots of people would be looking at it, so i made it to open like the doors of a house, so it would be extra wide, and offer plenty of viewing space. The pages all fit together, using papers that work seamlessly throughout, and can be turned separately without the subjects being confusing.

I distressed the corrugated cardboard covers and painted it with black acrylic paint. Once that dried, I added layers of mist in silver and white. The handle to the door is from a drawer in my garage, it came from an old kitchen cabinet. The lock and plate are Tim Holtz. All other items are Jenni Bowlin and Authentique. The whole thing is bound with my Zutter bind-it-all.

Joy Filled

A mini album I made as a guest designer for Donna Salazar Designs. This 7×7 book was created using covers of Zutter corrugated board that was painted with white paint, and distressed with mixed media inx by Clearsnap. The chipboard doll is by Donna as well, and I fussy cut wings from her papers to make her a fairy. A few of the inner pages, as well as the canvas pennant on the cover, are by Maya Road.  This whole mini fits in an altered box.
